Its just going to be Pearce, Keary & Teddy in the backline next year.
SKD will never play for another NRL team if he was to leave he would be off to the ESL.

I wanted SKD to be the modern day Barney Dalton, hard as a rock and a one-club stalwart. Sadly sometimes he plays like (you know what's coming!) Barney Rubble. And that will just increase as he gets older.

And after what that bitch Baird said and what that C.U.Next Tuesday Peris the Putita put him through, I had all the sympathy in the world for him but this is a business. And when a player stops producing the goods, he needs to move on.

It's not lack of attitude or effort. Players and staff love him. It's not the fact he continuously makes hitups for good yardage. It's the basic errors that he cannot remove from his game.

It staggers me that some footballers never develop skills or remove errors.

Possibly good for both parties to move on

The rumour is that the Roosters put a contract for next year in front of him but he kept dropping the pen.

Yes like that infamous long pass to RTS against Brisbane. An absolute shocker in a high stakes game and yet there was a game earlier this year where he tried the exact same thing again with Gordon. I nearly had a heart attack as it brought back awful memories but for SKD it was just like, well you know I'll just toss it out here without even blinking.

MR. I'm about to get shot but Pearse is similar in that he has significantly less errors but doesn't improve upon his higher base. 8 years in fg and his in goal management, field goal and high kicking game just does not improve. Even with Freddie and John's at the club. Pearse is much better footballer than skd but beggars me the lack of improvement in his game

His field goal kicking ability is appalling. You'd think he would practise and practise this element of his game.

I think I agree with you on this one Axe. When the game is on the line in big matches he rarely has that knockout blow.
