We have to let them go.

How else are we going to retain Bwaiff Anasta for 2 years?

Think I took an oath sometime long ago to be a Roosters supporter for life, so I can't wait to get my membership renewal either.

It's been this bad before, and more than once.

        I stuck around...and then came 2002:

        Oh happy days!...euphoria!

I didn't think I would say this, but I would be more disappointed to lose Linnett than Friend..

          Call me crazy...

Everything read on Twitter should be taken with a grain of salt.

We don't have to let Friend go, there are always options.
Maybe he went of his own accord, sick of doing 'all' the tackling in a losing team most weeks.
Me, in his position, I might have gone too, even allowing for the club's past support...not sure.
I could feel that I'd repaid them with my efforts.
He should really have stayed with us, but I can see how being mentored by "Bennett", a confidence and self-worth/self-belief building 'father figure' could be alluring.

The rest of the season is basically a trial, so anyone who has signed elsewhere for next year must be dropped.

Now that's it's out there...the club must make a statement and tell the fans exactly what is going on.

Jake Friend is either signed for next year or he's not.

Put it on the website...I'll keep looking all afternoon.

                        Teams need workers.
Workers can be coached to do other things.
Bennett must see something he likes very much.

I would take the loss of Friend really hard. There hasn't being many other players this year who have put in, and Friend is the best of that small group. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I think Friend will be Queensland's long term hooker once Smith retires.

You expect the club to respond to every stupid little rumour on Twitter?
