I admit that halfway through that game I was thinking what our team would be like with a creative dummy half. Someone that scooted out from there.

Needs to run more from dummy half and kick more as he can do these things - maybe Robbo has him constrained in these two areas from doing so?- kicking from dummy half would take pressure of Pearce too as long as our kick chasers do their thing.

Scooting from dummy half usually requires quick ptbs. We did not do this often.
I thought Robbo's use of the bench was poor. Carter should have come on either side of ht. instead he brought carter on with less than 7 mins. Horrible time to come on.
Methinks same would have happened if Watson was reserve and we'd be bagging him..

And how many shithouse momentum killing kicks had he put in prior to that? He gets one right with his kicks once every 5-6 games. Its not good enough.


I don't understand why our coaching staff after all these years still can't see that Friend is incapable of playing more than 60 minutes effectively. Without fail the bloke is blowing by the half hour mark of the first half every week yet he is still left on. He can flop in on as many tackles as he likes, it doesn't make him any less of a goddamned boat anchor for our attack in the last 10 of each half.

You'd think they'd have figured it out given his far and away best year was in 2013 when we had Morts giving him a rest for 10 mins each half, but apparently not.
