  • Bombed tries

The one with Gordon against Brisbane was bad.

The one last week - ahem, with Gordon again - was bad.

But today's was equally poor. If not worse.

Pro world class footy players unable to execute a 4-on-1 like that. Cordner passed way too early and found the slug who couldn't break a wet paper bag let alone a tackle.

It's so frustrating. Our execution is so clumsy at times.

There's a good footy team in there somewhere. We just haven't seen it much at all for 9 rounds.

Jeez you are fickle Tommy. Up and down like a yo yo depending on whether we win or lose. Try to find a bit more balance mate

Not sure why you call that fickle? Just because he and many others call the game as it is.

Tommy thinks we're bound for premiership glory whenever we win, completely hopeless when we lose. That's fickle.

              Fickle
              adjective
changing frequently, especially as regards one's loyalties or affections.

              My loyalty has never waivered.

I'm allowed to highlight our deficiencies - discuss the positives and negatives.

Isn't that what the forum is for?

No point watching the game if it doesn't excite and frustrate you weekly. May as well just get the results the day after.
Each to their own I guess.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the easy conversion miss from Gordon! He should relinquish his kicking duties to Taukeiaho.

no point watching the game if it's causing you to be so angry or miserable after a loss either really it's just entertainment life goes on and if people think the league is rigged why watch it

Cords said he passed early thinking Jake would pass on to Gordon.

But Cords in the clear is always a bit of a worry. Remember that game against them a few years back? He bombed three tries.

The one today was as much friend's fault.

Love the effort Boyd is putting in every week. He got it wrong like a lot of left handed players who aren't nearly as good passing left to right.

Got the shape and timing wrong.

What i also love about Boyd is he knows he got it wrong and in the press conference he put his hand up for his mistake not in a trite way and took account for his own actions.

Give me a captain like that any day - a honest hard working leader.

Cordner always bombs tries, it's just what he does.

I still love the man though.

It ultimately cost us the game. I think Jake was as much to blame for the bombed try as Boyd though.
