Paul Gallen fined for urinating in public: King Street Wharf


CRONULLA backrower Paul Gallen has been fined for allegedly urinating in a public place: off Sydney's King Street Wharf.

Sharks boss Richard Fisk says Gallen has informed the club of the incident that occurred late Friday night, and the club's arranged a meeting with him early this week.

He confirmed Gallen was on leave from his NRL club after returning from Australia's victorious Four Nations campaign last month.

The NSW and Australian forward quit the Cronulla captaincy earlier this year in the aftermath of the NRL's decision to fine him $10,000 over racist comments made to St George Illawarra forward Mickey Paea.
