It's a consideration when choosing sports for my kids. Do I want them to end up like this?

Is it really a consideration though? It wouldn't be for me.

I don't think the game is to blame in all this. Those guys would have taken coke if they were the type of people who would do that - whether or not they play footy.

I dont remember who the other parties to the Alex McKinnon incident were, which Jordan McClean got suspended for.

This is only an opinion based on a gut feel, but here goes:

I think SKDumb will stay with the club, but on a contract worth 2 & sixpence. His mental fragility means that Robbo will want to keep him inside the bosom of the team, but logic says that as his actions damaged the brand of the club, then he'll have to take a financial hit, and probably a considerable one.

As good as some areas of his game are, his liability in the other areas means i doubt there would be much interest in him on the open market.

        Just sayin'

Pretty sure both Bromwich brothers were involved in that tackle, but a far stretch to say he caused the accident.

SKD's form and recent arrest probably work against him. But yes he would have to be a bargain basement buy.

I agree mate thats its drawing the long bow. It was a really unfortunate accident. But I think that is what Jizz was alluding to.

IMO usage was probably so darn obvious that a junior cop was like 'loool yeah if you want a good story then send a coupla dogs through Ivy on a Friday/Saturday night... position one near the door and one near the toilet and you're gonna see a heap of b-grade celebs shuffling towards the dunnies for sure... it'll be hillarious!!!'

What came out in SKD's other case was claims that he didn't do cocaine 'anymore' (from his text messages). I feel for him because this has gotta be tough BUT clearly there's a simple way in which to avoid getting busted with drugs.
                Oh dear.

SKD has to take full responsibility for whats happened not people coming up with all these ridiculous excuses for him.
The penalty should be dealt with after the court case has been dealt with so in the mean time he should be allowed to play.
At the end of the day being caught with a half g of coke is hardly the crime of the century so he's not going to get any serious penalty out of it.
If a fireman, nurse or ambo got caught for the same thing they wouldnt lose their job over it.
