Not surprising to me, he's always been a good player.

We won because we played well in attack and scored some good tries.

                • And kicking against a howling westerly wind instead of with it.

                  I mean, really!

                  It's 'criminal'!

It can easily be the difference between winning and losing a match.

                  Pearce did it twice!

                    • We still lack go forward, our forwards made shit all metres.

Ryles and Myles unsurprisingly the only ones near 100 metres. Smithy needs to find a way to get 10-15 more minutes out of Masoe, stick him in the backrow who cares we need some go forward. Tasi back this week?

                      • We actually had some attacking plays...basic plays but effective because players in Motion and players like Graham hitting holes

The question....we the fark has that style of play been for the past 3 months?

Probably where it still would have been until Elliot joined the camp, in the toilet

                          • Great to finally get a win. Not perfect by any means but given our form this year a win's a win. Can't believe how well Graham played. But we really need some more front rowers with grunt and couldn't believe the 2 fails to find touch! Lets hope the boys confidence has improved with that win and we can smash the rabbit vermin.

Thats a concern for me. People are tearing strips off Myles for lack of effort yesterday, but he still makes over 100m and over 30 tackles when our other forwards can't. Throw in the fact that Conn is already gone and there is no guarantee that Ryles will be with the club next year (age, form, motivation) and there is a lot of work that someone else needs to pick up.

We have planty of young backrowers at our club, but not too many workhorses that will do the tough stuff up the middle.

Well said FF and you have succinctly identified potential issues with the Roosters for 2012.
