  • No more talk of getting rid of Fergo

I can't believe the amount of Roosters supporters who are calling for Fergo to be released. As far as I can see he is an essential part of this team and our chances of future successes.Evans is already gone and SKD and Guerra will be the other 2 to be released. Fergo is a must keep.

Yeah, nah. Not on the money he'll be wanting

He's not a must keep, expect a silly offer from another club which we simply can't/won't match.

Is he worth 500k to be a winger though?

Today he was great, not only for his tries, but was taking the ball up and asking to be involved.

He'll be asking for 500k+ and he simply won't get that from us.

I can't see him being here next year.

I've always thought he was a great fit and is showing exactly what he has to offer. I think there's improvement in him as well but today he hardly put a foot wrong.

I think it is on the cards that he won't be re-signed especially if we get Chambers. He had a great game today. Probably his best in the last 18 months in the RWB. But he is playing for a contract with us or somewhere else so he needed to lift his game as most players do. Hopefully he has turned the corner for the rest of 2017.

I honestly think with Latrell inside him, he didn't have to worry about Kenny-Dowall dropping the ball or throwing it at his head. Why the hell would the Roosters need a 30 year old centre, who is hardly a prolific try scorer, when we have two up and coming centres who already showing signs of being greats. I don't want to lose Mitchell or Manu because of a crappy purchase. Whoever hypothesized the Roosters getting Chambers needs a HIA.

                SUPER DRAGON!

Ray you need to look at consistency. I can't judge a player on one good performance.

Todays effort was fine, but to be honest Parra were a shambles, I would like to see that effort against a time club to be sure we are turning the corner.

It's probably just a chookpen myth that fergo won't be re signed. Just like it's a chookpen myth that he can't play.

How it works here is someone says he won't be signed because they don't like him and then everyone starts parroting the same thing and before you know it's conventional wisdom in the chookpen the player is leaving when in reality it's probably not the case at all.

Newcastle would be looking very close at Furgo now that SKD has disgraced himself.
If it is true about chambers then Furgo is gone.
I would prefer to keep our back line as is.
