It's probably just a chookpen myth that fergo won't be re signed. Just like it's a chookpen myth that he can't play.

How it works here is someone says he won't be signed because they don't like him and then everyone starts parroting the same thing and before you know it's conventional wisdom in the chookpen the player is leaving when in reality it's probably not the case at all.

Fergo could probably command big money as he is a current origin and test player. As a winger I can't justify spending big money on him and seeing his from has been average at best at club level I don't want to pay overs for a winger. Holland is safe, cheap and can kick goals. If the same price as Holland I'd take Fergo of course, but he'll expect big money with this next contract.

Yesterday was the 1st time in a very long time that I have seen Fergo sidestep,scoring in the paddo corner. At times he looks so awkward and no doubt the ankle and foot injuries have changed his playing and running style. Best suited on the wing and the 2 second half tries confirm it for me.

Ray you need to look at consistency. I can't judge a player on one good performance.

He is the Australian and NSW winger, he is a must keep. You can't have too many rookies, you need experience and nous. I'd be very surprised if we let him go.

I think it is on the cards that he won't be re-signed especially if we get Chambers. He had a great game today. Probably his best in the last 18 months in the RWB. But he is playing for a contract with us or somewhere else so he needed to lift his game as most players do. Hopefully he has turned the corner for the rest of 2017.

holland is cheap because he's not good holland would not score the tries that ferguson scored yesterday sorry but I strongly disagree that signing players for cheap is a primary concern

Fair enough but you do need some players who are on average wage.
