There is no doubt Fergo will be gone in my opinion.

Simply because, you have desperate clubs such as the Tigers and Knights who are going to pay overs ( possibly around 700k + ) for an outside back like Fergo with strike power.

Our club would be insane to match those sorts of offers, and we wont be matching those offers. It is this cap management philosophy that has seen us so competitive over the past 5 years.

Additionally, the Chambers signing means someone will certainly be going from the backline (not just SKD).

I don't think Fergo is a bad player - i simply think he is poor value for money

You are taking the Chambers signing as a given?

I agree with you but I believe sam moa types are the exception and on the wing I think we can get better value with players in the lower grades of our own club if holland was playing from our own depth I would agree with you on playing him but bringing somebody in surely we can spend a little extra money for a bit better or promote johnny tuivasa sheck just my opinion I respect yours though

Assuming Gordon is gone, who do you think will be goalkicker?

            Not 100%

But the fact we have been in the market for him or Gaga tells me that there is more than one outside back on the way out. My money is on Fergo, simply due to the fact someone will be offering him silly money any day now, and I believe he will take that opportunity

Well Kerrod is at least consistent. Consistently ordinary.

Sorry. I think I've missed something. When did we sign Chambers?

Happy for Fergo to stay as a winger, on a wingers' wage.

A goal kicker is a priority.

Gordon has been solid but I reckon next year would be one year too many.

where can we get a goal kicker from though i reckon weve only got a spot next year in the back row or possibly on the wing for a goal kicker it must be slim pickings to find one on the market maybe taukeiaho will have to keep practicing

It's not out of the question, I seriously believe he is a damn good goalkicker. It is not as if backrowers haven't kicked before, hello Craig Fitzgibbon.

yeah you're right he started off shakey but he got better at it obviously with more practice at worst he is on par with gordon so it's not too bad he will kick them from the sideline one game and go about 40% another

SST looks terrified when he kicks goals. I can barely stand to watch. I doubt he wants to keep doing it.

We need a goal kicking back. Forwards either get rotated or work too hard to burden them with goal kicking. With a few exceptions of course.

Watching him kick is a thing of beauty.

What was that game in the wet last year where he potted over everything from the sideline? Absolutely nailed every single one with a beautiful follow through, which was really unexpected.

I'd be fine with him - after getting some training from Fitzy - being our kicker.

The only question mark is, will he be on the field 80 minutes or not?

Blake's running style has changed dramatically since he has had those ankle injuries with us. He was alot more dynamic with his evasive skills in Canberra.

I wouldn't pay over 500k for him, and i think we need save /plan for the retention of L.Mitchell if anything and not over comitt our cap.

The Will Chambers talk sounds like bs to me.
