Ex-Parra coach Smith never named the player in question, however i recall him telling the story of a smallish framed local Parra junior he turned away one off season, only to see the very same bloke months down the track playing for a rival Sydney club with a much broader, beefed up physique. The player cracked NRL and went on to bigger things. Hmmm

Haha yeh Brian Smith didn't hold back when the peptide allegations first came out. He pretty much came out and said Gallen took performance enhancing drugs after he left Parra because there was no way he could have gotten that big after Smith released him.

It's acceptable to consider size, especially in forwards. What's important is the balance it has to the team. Cant have a small pack

I get the Gallen comparisons...plus he's only a youngster who will gather some bulk with an nrl training regime.

Hahaha, he is still only 19 so probably still growing and he is not much smaller than SST at 25 lol.....
