The Axe isn't very tall, and the bloke that played Chooks,ponies & rugby, both could cut anyone in half.
Even though the wrestle is in the game, you still need someone to hit them hard down low and drive them onto their backs.

Sam Moa could use his smaller frame well so i have no concerns about Butcher.
Even though he seems a bit smaller, he loves doing the tough stuff. Seemed confident in his NRL debut.

Parramatta told a 19yr old Paul Gallen he was too small to play First Grade and released him. Nearly every NRL club turned away a teenage Jonathan Thurston cause he was too small.

So many other factors go into the make up of a league player to limit it to one and say that a player isn't going to make it because of attribute x or y is ridiculous.

If Butcher has what it takes to crack at the NRL then size wont matter, history has shown that time and time again.

I think Butcher is too small to be a dominant forward.

Brad Clyde is probably the best lock forward of the last 40 years and he weighed about 100kg.

Ex-Parra coach Smith never named the player in question, however i recall him telling the story of a smallish framed local Parra junior he turned away one off season, only to see the very same bloke months down the track playing for a rival Sydney club with a much broader, beefed up physique. The player cracked NRL and went on to bigger things. Hmmm
