Absolutely, I mentioned him last year as someone we should be chasing when he was off contract then. He would be a great signing. How stupid are they at Newcastle, trying to rebuild desperately and go drop pretty much there best player the last few years for wanting an upgrade.

He said he could talk to other clubs in November, despite being contracted to Newcastle next year and that English clubs were looking at him. Pretty silly thing to say to a journalist before the club.
