  • Possible Coaches for 2010

Personally I don't mind who is the coach next year, be it Fittler or someone else as long as the team plays with some pride..

The possible coaches that could be here in 2010 include:
    Stephen Kearney
    Peter Sharp
    Brian Noble
    Brad Fittler

Does anyone here have a preference between these candidates for 2010?

If Freddy stays (preferred option) needs a John Lang to come over and work with him to improve his Coaching skills as there must be away of unlocking that talent he had as a player into something else other players can use.

If Freddy goes Stephen Kearney would be the man as he has had an apprenticeship under Bellamy and would have gained immensely from being with Bennet at last years World Cup.

I would too Phantom, but if some of the blokes in our club couldnt handle dOpes and his ways I doubt theyd handle Riellys hardarsed attitude. Dead set hed slap some our current pussies, could only help IMO.

I'd like to see Freddy stay on. I think he has copped an unfair amount of criticism, some warranted but the rest is just rubbish. Really we can build the next 10 years around him and about half our current squad, I think he will need a better support staff though.. Peter O'sullivan is a great place to start and we just need to build upon that.

Time for the players to take more responsibility, you think back to Anderson and for some reason we turned it around all in on week when Freddy stepped in, came 4th last season and all of a sudden they've just decided to stop playing again. It seems like there's something bigger than just the coaches at our club who decide when we do and don't want to play. I think we will lack senior players next season especially with Fitzy going so to counter that we need to get in some young players to create some exuberance and buzz around the place... whether Freddy can achieve this is the big question.

If freddy is to stay on, politis needs to get a coaching director in and NOW !
