Ladder predictions after origin

Curious for your thoughts where we may sit on the ladder after the Origin period.

I think the current top four will pretty much remain unchanged or at least remain as the top four clubs. I can't see much coming from the Merge or Cowboys until after origin and some injured players returns. The two movers in the current 8 would be Manly and the Raiders but I don't see them cracking the four at this stage.

What do you reckon? Can the Eels and Dogs push their way in?

We will struggle to make the top four this year. Our standing on the ladder is deceiving when you look at who we have played and who we have to play. The saving grace is plenty of home games. Hopefully I am way wrong.

Tough times, but for me 50% would be a pass mark. I'd be happy with 4 wins and ecstatic with more.
We'll be competitive underdogs v Raiders and Souths and will hopefully jag one win. Not a gimme, but we should beat the Tigers. If things go well we can win 2 out of the other 3.

Home games we've taken elsewhere

We have had an easy draw but the Eels performance shows that when we get it right we can beat anyone.

I think the Warriors loss will cost us top 4 ultimately. Would love to be wrong.

We never beat the Sharks, even full strength.

50% would be a great effort. Even if we are a win outside the top foor after origin we will be okay. The experience our origin stars get plus the depth we develop have us set for the home straight with a lot of home games to play.

Giving away home advantage for 2 of those games is going to come back and bite us on the arse. Still, we'll make a quid and that's all that counts, right?

I would have us winning at least 4 of those with Storm the likely loss, and Sharks maybe loss as we play poor against them usually.

It feels like a free roll to me as we're not expected to win at all.

One things for sure, we haven't had to play the storm, sharks, cows, raiders, The Broncos smashed us at full strength but that alone doesn't suggest we're shyte. It was just one shocker in a great season.

IMO the origin period will hurt us. Hopefully not as much as it hurt the Broncos last year. They never really recovered

We'll know soon enough just how good we are. Playing the teams above at Full strength. We did well against the dogs twice, the panfas, and the merge.

Also, we still have a lot of improvement in us.

Gordon may even remember how to kick goals again.
