Oh go the Chookpen!

Their team near last...its season basically 'over'...today's match against the red-hot new-coach Panthers...it's 'the Panthers by how many' in the minds of most.

The match was just underway...and it was soon a try to the Panthers...the score 6-0 to them.

Then 8-0 from memory.

The Roosters basically down for the count...but the Chookpen, 2/3 full when only the faithful were at the game today, were still cheering for their team, and urging the boys on.

Then went off like a Saturn rocket as the Roosters kept scoring!

I was on the other side and it was funny watching the Pen and the Panthers turds going at each other.

As I walked into the ground, (bout 1.30pm) there were a group of supporters with banners and Mario with drum, chanting for a tv camera (and I think David Peachey)

That was part of a segment that The Barefoot Rugby League show is doing about supporters groups. They have done segments on other groups and this week was our turn. should be on in a couple of weeks
