unfortunately, his mind is clouded by his ego and his bias.

He is a The quintessential example of an ex football player with limited intellect, zero life experience outside of league and authority on everything.

Clearly I am not a fan but as mentioned he must be laundered for his courage. Something that he has always had in abundance.
Laundered? It's the only way he would ever be considered a clean player I guess.

Met him several times socially and he seems like a great bloke. A real footy head though. He doesn't shy awY from that

O'Connor never got over Tallis they both went toe to toe & both gave as good as they got.
Didnt Tallis give Ben Ross a touch up?

Tallis is a dog that loves to throw the first unsuspecting punch.

And O'Connor took 3 or 4 of Tallis' best shots and didn't budge an inch.

In return he unloaded once or twice; busting Tallis face and sending him to his haunches needing help from the trainer.

It's all there in the footage.

Tallis is a fake fighting hardman. Again, anyone can get a couple of cheap shots in on unsuspecting blokes. But he couldn't take it in return.

Tommy I think they were both pretty tough blokes.
They both ended up bleeding from their faces.
Tallis went down on his haunches because he was stuffed not because he was hurt.

                  Perhaps.

But I'm a biased Englishman on this topic so like to believe that Tallis waa down because he couldn't take the punch

Yeah I think from memory Broadhurst was the NZ heavyweight boxing champion or ex champion wasn't he? Versus Bowden the classic brawler. Bowden finished him off with a couple of nasty head butts. Remember seeing Broadhurst the next day, his head was a mess.

Oh no he was hurt. He was a dick on the field. Great at picking on small players and players that had their backs turned

Loved it when Morley flattened [legally] the one who flattened Freddy [seemingly illegally].

That was the "kangaroo thief" Richard Villesanti. That dog-act on Freddy got the Morley treatment. Beautiful to watch

Hit ross with about 10 of his best and barely moved him back a step
