How the hell do we beat the Storm?

You can't underestimate how big a point that is ROC. We don't have that luxury. You need an on field leader who is prepared to rip into his players when stupid penalties are being given away or ridiculous passes been thrown . Basically a real lack of respect for possession, which we all know we can be very guilty of.
I never see that guy in our team. Jake Friend certainly doesn't do it. Once we start like that we generally keep doing it. If that happened in a game at the storm Smith and Cronk would be all over it.

I think the last one to have that respect would have been Freddy. One bad look from him and they'd start to quiver...

IMO Robbo has been foxing by experimenting with and then hiding tactics to counter a compressed rushing defence. Remember earlier in the year the deep backline and long passes between Pearce and Keary standing on same side of the field. Keary shallow kicks for wingers. Friend early 40/20 attempts.

Robbo may not show his hand regular season, but mark my words we will beat the Storm when it counts.

Watched most of the game last night - their passing was slick and fast - tore the Broncos edges to shreds. Contrary to popular belief, Smith and Cronk aren't as essential to that side as most people think. Bellamy has some ridiculously good kids coming through. Even when Cronk and Smith leave, there will be good continuity.

2 questions,

A) What can Robbo do about our fringe defence for this season to actually give us a shot at beating these guys?

B) What do our centre/winger stocks look like in reserve grade - given that we're probably going to lose Watson, Fergo and Flash at the end of next year?
