Yeah, maybe it's just me but I don't give a crap how he looks when he runs the ball back. If we are performing better with him at fullback than without, then he should be our fullback unless there is another player that makes the team perform even better. Should be the exact same way for every position across the park.

I thought Graham was good again. Sure, he didn't have much leg speed - but he was safe and made metres.
His slow returns seemed to me more threatening than Mini's 100 mph pinball efforts this year.
I'm no stats guru, but I'd like to see a comparison between Mini and Graham (at fullback) for average metres and line breaks?

Then you say you would rather have Billy Slater than Phil Graham, what farking genius!
Thanks for the powerful insights you muppet.
The fact is everyone here is down on him when he was statistically one of the better fullbacks in the comp this round in his second game there in 10 years. If you wanna talk about stuff that can't be measured HE STAYS THE FARK OUT OF FIRST RECEIVER AND WE SCORE POINTS.
Everyone was down on Myles when he consistently gains a heap of metres for us and makes a bunch of tackles. He saved a try with a Hindmarsh like play, when 99 out of a hundred forwards in the comp wouldn't even be expected to be there to make the play. Soft. No effort.
People just ride on "easy" targets based on some perception of how they play or their attitude despite actual evidence to the contrary, which is just dismissed with some lame excuse.
If all Graham's breaks were based on typical bad Souths defence why did BJ only have 2? Was he playing against a different team? He's a real up and comer that kid, future of the club and only 2 dropped balls. Good game BJ!
This place has so many sacred cows that I'm wondering if some of the posters here are involved in recruitment and team selection. If so, I can't wait to see the next signing. When is Adrian Purtell off contract?
Where are the threads on Symonds? We probably have 100 to 1 Ryles to Symonds threads but Symonds is sooo much worse with the stupid penalties and stuff WITHOUT some impact or yardage to go along. In fact, I haven't seen a bigger red headed clown since Fatty.
Why isn't SKD copping it from all quarters? His form is sooooo far down it is a joke. With his new deal he could be the next Braith, but do we just wait until the last year of his contract before we analyse his performances?
This place needs a reality check.
He has developed other parts to his game such as drawing and passing and setting up his support. He certainly had the better of Inglis on the weekend.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Yeah maybe slightly unafir on SKD because some of his attacking play is probably dependent on the quality of ball he has been getting but for me he has seemed a little bit less dangerous and a little bit more error prone.
Though that probably is something that you could say team-wide.
Except Perrett who has looked very dynamic after a decent lay-off.

Im sure u have the game in the old VCR so u can pin point what people are talking about and u nit pick to make urself sound some part knowledgeable.
I think Lydon made a good point and u started to rant on, sure ur name isnt Phil Graham SNR?
Talking bout my Grammar AHAH so ur the next Paul Kent to? Ur just a know it all whos never wrong and when someone questions ur theory u bore them to DEATH with ur Dictionary words.
Go put ur teeth back in Oscar the Grouch.
BTW Phil Graham is a DUD 2 good games doesnt make a good player and BJ is shithouse on the wing most of his metres were made over the touch line.

Having Graham fill in for Mini in the last 2 weeks has been a rare highlight of our 2011 season...IMO
He is the least of our worries...

No wonder the Roosters are going nowhere. Just look at the personal choices of the players.

He's had two more good games than Anasta. I think Graham has been pretty unfairly maligned on this site. When he started with us he was playing centre where he showed good ability in attack and defence. Then he got shunted to the wing where he was solid before being injured,. His two games at fullback he has shown a lot of good skills and made more line breaks than Mini has in the last 2 years.
Ryles and Myles are the same, sure they give away a few penalties but if they didn't do the hard yards up the middle of the ruck we would have no go forward at all with heartless lumps like Mose and FPN.

Head height (not over), and it wasn't forward.
Was more Perrett's fault than Shaun Kenny's, I reckon.
