As dissapointed as I am by that second half I console myself with the fact we ran second last in 2016 and my only hope this year was that the team made the eight, It seems that we most likely will so it was an improvement. Our young guys need another offseason defensively and we need another prop, a good one.

But 'we play for premierships'.

All I know is that they had Saturday off.

We have gone from 15th to 4th in the space of a season.

We have let go Guerra, SKD and Evans.

We're investing valuable time into the next generation; Latrell, Manu, Keary, Matterson & Butcher.

And we've signed James Tedesco.

These are facts. Unles you think Aiden Guerra is world class, 15th is better than 4th & James Tedesco is shit then I can't see how anyone can actually believe the statement 'we are farked'.

We might not be able to beat the top echelon clubs but if that's all we're not doing at the moment I'll take it.

We can't be premier's every season.

Or we can look at it this way...We went from 1st to 15th in the space of a season...2016 was not a true indication of what the teams potential was. A better comparison is 2015/17. So looking at it that way, we aren't doing as well as 2015 and before that.

Souffs are one of the teams that I'm expecting a lot of improvement from. If they play like they did today and we play like the last 2 weeks, and with our origin 'stars' out then we, once again, are farked. Johnston , Burgess and co running at Manu. Gotta slot Maubs into the centres. We also need to watch Reynolds kicking game, Attacking, in the air and along the ground, and for repeat sets.

Will the real Luke Keary please stand up. Cometh the hour , cometh the man...Geeze I hope Keary goes well. We'll need to get the best out of our fill-ins to win this one. It is going to be a very tough game for us to win. Would be great to win this game going into the bye.

Our forward pack, minus Napa, Cords and possibly SST will really need to step up, to be enthusiastic and aggressive.

Is the above possible or am I pissing into a very strong wind. Surely the team can get psyched up enough to give it to pathetic Souffs, origin players or no origin players.
