Reality - We're farked

We may not be at the same standard as the Storm or Sharks, but i am happy to be sitting in the top 4 this deep into the season.
It is impossible to have the best team every season and we can't expect that. But we go into every game this year, knowing that we are a fair chance of winning, including this week against Souths.
Just have faith, enjoy the ride until the semis, where anything can happen

Do you actually read my posts? I never said souffs were great. I said they were one of the teams that would/could improve IMO.

Obviously if we were a serious contender we should/would easily dispose of souffs, but we won't (for the same reasons I'm stating over and over).. (Also we have injuries and/or Origin Reps).

Souffs are coming off a very emphatic and comprehensive victory over the Panfas..

They also had a bye two weeks ago so they will be fresher.

I don't give a toss if you rebut every point I try to make, but can you please read my posts at least as opposed to skimming through them and jumping to conclusions.

so 11th team can improve because they heavily defeated an ordinary team but you think 4th team will miss the top 8 which would mean losing just about every game for the rest of the year including the bottom teams the logic isnt adding up you dismiss our matches against the ordinary teams then get excited for south sydney defeating penrith who are shite you said this year would be a repeat of last year but your posts sound like somebody who thought this would be a premiership win if you want to see a team who is well and truly farked have a look at wests or newcastle

Yes I do think that 2017 will come crashing down around us, but still an improvement on 2016 (By that I mean no top 4, and a battle to stay in the 8).

But haven't you all been reading the comments sections in the papers? Didn't you know we have no salary cap, haven't had to let any of our grand final winning team go, and the entire team is made up of champion rep players??

Any chance of getting Maloney back? He killed us on Saturday. The intensity was lacking too (hopefully that will improve when Cords comes back), and we all knew the Sharks would be fired up after a big loss the week before. The Sharks deserved their win, but it seemed one-way traffic with penalties in the first half. I think all the tackling may have zapped their energy. I haven't thought they were going to win the comp once this year. No need to write them off completely though. Let's see how they respond next week against those who shall not be named. Is Friend under instruction to kick constantly on the 4th tackle? They come off sometimes, but often they are picked off too easily with an ineffectual chase. It is glaringly obvious there are serious defensive problems out wide, which need to be fixed.
