i start a thread about how I think the roosters played recently and how I think they will go this year.

then you guys start attacking me and my opinions and you call me a troll. Seriously guys, look back, you all started attacking me. For what? An opinion from a passionate roosters fan.

no worries, like I said, it's my opinion only. That's what makes a good forum-differing opinions. Not to worry I'll keep posting my opinions, and you guys can tell me I'm a 'git' cause I'm saying we won't make the 4 and making the 8 will be a battle.

Answering a question from another post.

NO we are not a chance, absolutely no farking chance. No top 4 and possibly miss the 8.

We have played 1 game ALL YEAR for the entire 80 mins - parra. Thats it.

This year it's between the following:

1. storm
2. Sharks
3. Manly
4. Broncos


The rest just arent tough enough, fast enough, or just plain good enough.

Been saying it for months. that the origin period combined with a really tough run home would kill us. Well its well and truly begun.

We've been smashed 2 weeks in a row - nearly all our points against the run of play. Yes Cronulla played the perfect game of footy, and Melb did last night. We looked like amateurs out there today. kids in the centres missing tackles and general bad reads in defence. Kicking game sucked. Forwards were out muscled and out enthused as was our whole team. No Gordon today and they would have easily gone well over 50. They were just playing with us - Don't wanna risk injury for origin.

Lets get serious here, we all knew 2017 was gonna be 2016 just added with more wins by under 4 points than losses. No go forward (ALL YEAR). Liu is sleep walking. Well Guerra is Guerra. Evans is a marshmallow, JWH no discipline, NAPA obviously purely an origin player now. Friend has no farking idea.

WHY DO WE STRUGGLE TO REACH OUR 30 /40 PLAYING A SET OFF OUR LINE (because opps have line speed. Has anyone noticed our line speed - exactly none cause we are happy to allow teams to eat 10 or so metres with every play. We have no line speed.

WE ARE GOOOOONNNNNEeeeeeeee. An absolute farking nightmare. The knights will lift and beat us on the back of SKD emotion.

I've been attacked for saying this but it's a fact. Liu is playing like hes on horse sedatives.

WORST OF ALL - OUR COACH STRONGLY FEELS THAT CORDNER DESERVES TO PLAY ORIGIN 3, EVEN IF ONLY 70-80% fit. What the fark. We could lose him for another 4-6 weeks. He could fark up his ankle over compensating for a farked calf.

Take 2 valium every 4 hours & the delusions will subside.

Cmon Inspector. My initial rant was (insert apt word here). I'm not blaming the alcohol Inspector, but I was blind. Was it a stupid bunch of posts most certainly (mainly due to extreme disappointment). I've said Im passionate a zillion times. BUT i never personally attack other members for any reason. EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion.

In addition, at least it was a more interesting thread, as it turned out, than a shyte load of others.

The way some people got so heated in going off at me was rediculous. Please inspector please note most other threads in the forum. Quick off the mark followed by personal attacks and others join in. And people wonder why 'chookpeners' are dropping off like flies.

I admit , my passion and emotion took over, but seriously - crucify me. I was wrong, and I farked up. I've said before I'm a realist but Inspector you call me negative. You were 100% correct regarding this stupid thread.

But I will still never attack another member for nothing (unless of course they repeatedly go after me).

For what it's worth, I'm now 100% sure we will make the top16. IN MY OPINION ONLY, I THINK We will not win the premiership or make THE GF because we do not have the forward impact off the bench. And our defensive efforts against the top teams WILL NOT BE ENOUGH.
