Robbo trims Squad to 19 VS Manly game in must win Game

Friend ruled out - not sure of Radley's fitness - looks like last bench spot between - Cornish /Evans/Butcher - A must win game against what will be a very desperate Manly side whom we have not a very good record against Historically(we beat them 4 times(all times in the one season) in 2013 though only time that has happened) - I think Manly have won 65% or so of matches between the two sides historically.

Sea Eagles lead overall head-to-head 84-44 with two drawn games- Roosters are 18 wins and 59 losses at Brookvale.

I don't think we will win this one because Manly have much more to play for than us ( a return to firm for the finals) and if we aren't careful (too many errors) they have shown in the past they can thrash us.

A loss won't affect our outright second place as the sharks got beat so we can lose tomorrow and will still be outright second. But a win would see us close to cementing a top four spot. I haven't done the math but I think we can still get pushed out of the top four if we lose against Manly, Storm and Sharks so 2/4 might get us in the 4 but I still think the Storm are home and hosed this year.

were easily a better team, but this reminds me of when we played the sharks, they had back to back poor performances, then they played us and played amazing. feel something like that could happen, but hoping not. Go the chooks.

Just because they've been thrashed over the last few weeks doesn't mean they have more to play for. The need to stay in touch with the Storm is just as important to us. They always give us problems but they have plenty of weaknesses and I hope that Pearce or Keary put Turbo under pressure with good bombs. He has been suss on the high balls.

Agreed. It's so we're how the Storm have only won one (okay currently two) more game than us, yet we've been the whipping boys in a heap of EASY contests.

The Storm have had a few close losses to quality opposition, when their big 3 have been away. That's about it.

So weird that we could be on top of them if we'd won 1 or 2 more games (against pretty frigging ordinary teams). So weird...

I keep reading how crap Manly are coz of all the points they have leaked recently. . We all know that's irrelevant when teams play us. It's like Cronulla next week.
Every team is up for us except the Tigers. I swear Nick has signed their players up to be a trial side for us. Just bend over and let us ream you.

Anyway, Manly will be tough. Tupou will be wanting to bash us again. And the grub Walker will want to break our hearts again.
