  • A timely reminder

    1. Robbo please use your entire bench in a match - if you're going to play someone for 9 mins and 0 last week please dont include them in the 17.

    2. We were gassed at the end because of one dumb penalty - JWH you are a legend but please cut them out of your game especially in the opening exchanges when the opposition halves are fresh and can put 6 repeat sets of six on you.

    3. Manu needs to be pushed to wing or to Wyong - he is a worse defensive reader than Blake and his ability to tackle is horrendous. Needs development, ideally not in the lead up to or in a finals series.

    4. Jake cleans up so much in the middle that goes unnoticed- need him and cords back so much right now.

    5. Perspective- we are in a much better position than I thought wed be after last season. Thankful to be playing finals footy - we fix a couple of key areas and I think we can go close.

Lastly - Robbo has far few kms on the odometer than Bennet & Bellamy. Need to remember that. He's a fast learner though, I'm confident he'll get us into good positions over the next few seasons.

I think he will be suspended for his shoulder tackle on a Manly player off the ball - 1 to 2 weeks suspension- they are cracking down on this

Not only weak but soft/rudderless and clueless - hard to see how a side could be so different from one week to the next- but then again that's the way they have been playing most of the year - no one could say they have really put in a 80 minute performance all year and that is what it will take over consecutive weeks from now on to have any chance of winning the comp - No use saying they will be better next year as next year is next year and anything could happen - other teams are better/injuries or poor form affect the team - Carpe Diem - there may never be a better chance than 2017 as who knows what will happen in years to come

                  Is that a rhetorical question?
no, I don't think we're any chance next week, would love to be wrong. Based on what I saw today and recurring trends across the entire season, i think we're really struggling with fluency because we're too frail on the fringes and are giving away unnecessary penalties early on in matches. we also need full compliment off the bench, i think fixing these areas is at least a step in the right direction, happy to be debated on any of above.
