I'll still be selecting the mighty chooks in my nrl tipping comp of course
ever tipped against them? I had done it once against the Cowboys in Townsville when that ar$hole Finch kicked a field goal to win. It was bitter sweet. A win but lost money on tips and bets.

The current game .. eels knights.. shows that two teams on their day anyone can win. Pre-judge at your peril etc

Never ever in tipping comps. My most painful memory was backing ($$$)the Roosters against Warriors a few years ago. Chooks led very comfortably at half time. Game finished with them winning in the dying seconds.I think the NZ hooker at the time actually got knocked out scoring. Miraculously somehow still managed to hold onto the ball.! Made me feel ill

It was their Fullback at the time Keven Locke who scored that try knocking himself out in the process.

As long as you don't lose your shirt Jizm mate.

The Storm are the real deal, we will have to play at our very best all match to beat them. No 20 mins of brilliance will be enough as the Storm is so well drilled they can break down most attacks and to score points against them shifts like what we do to our outside backs with Keary sweeping around dont work as well. The Storm slide so well in defence.

In fact we stand a better chance with the inside ball to a good support runner like Flash, if our forwards get on a roll. Several inside balls or offloads over a few sets. Then a sweep play would then have starting to guess and maybe Mitchell or one of our backrowers one on one with a smaller defender.

Pearce and Keary and Friend lol needs to mix up their kicks too, Slater and his two wingers can return the ball just about better than anyone in the comp, especially kicking to them on the full. Doubly hard as Slater anticipates the kick probably better than anyone, Flash goes close but Slater has the edge in pace and gets to more kicks on the full than any fullback I have seen in my lifetime. The bombs need to be pin perfect and perhaps some JT style wobbly semi grubber and chase to vacant land would help.

The drizzle will lap the Roosters today and lock up the minor premiership but sure, go ahead and put your dinero on the Roosters.
Though I ask you ism22, Isn't there a more pleasurable way to spend your money? Such hubris is fine but it isn't rooted in reality.

                Melbourne are beatable.
The game managers are much harder to get the better of.

Would love it if the club made a play for G.M.M. Surely there wouldnt be much difference in coin. Out and out winger.

Some people who follow the Chooks that dont take their red, white & blue glasses off end up delusional.
