if so would have been better to spend some of this in keeping Watson in that case

Money wasn't the issue for Watson, he was already on contract with us for next year. He wanted a starting spot in the halves, and knew he wasn't going to get one in a hurry if he stayed with us.

Considering the number of players we've let go (Guerra, SKD, Evans, Watson, Knight & Carter) and only signed one established 1st grader, I'd be surprised if we didn't have some money tucked away for the right signing.

That was Robbo's fault being reluctant to use him - sometimes he didn't even play and other times a few minutes- got more game time after he signed with the Knights though for some reason.- I don't see any other signings on the horizon so they must be going with what they have and bringing up some of the lower grade players into the 36 player squad- 30 NRL and 6 development players for those leaving and for the additional spots

              Patrick Kaufusi signs with Storm.

Mustve dropped interest in him around the same time we turned our attention to Cronk.

Still think we need a hard nosed prop moreso than a 34 year old half. Seriously stinks of transit lounge to me.

Does anyone know if Jarrad Anderson has been signed for next year ?. He has just been named for Scotland for the WC. He looked pretty good in the NYC, more of a back rower than centre but had enough speed to cover both positions.

I hope so. We like playing back-rowers in the centres.
