Jake...awfully sluggish performance out of dummy half tonight. Hand waving poor decisions. Slow. I pined for Radley or Watson there.

i joined the chookpen for 1 reason only - to give you guys some insight into my brilliant mind regarding rugby league : -) i thought to myself a couple of years ago (after JWH did his knee ) that we wouldn't win another comp with M.P in the side - that his use by date was already up. I've seen it so many times before - Benji, Scotty Prince, et al

. I think Uncle Nick at times is kinda beholden to the old Chookpen Lounge times of yesteryear - i.e we need to hold onto players because we had such a high turnover of players that aren't committed. I don't think that holds true anymore.

I think two players that could have been moved on are Jake Friend and Mitchell Peace. Granted, they would have left a hole in the team, but that happens when you embrace generational change. I really think we f**cked up big time by letting Watson go.

I sincerely hope i'm wrong, and we win the comp next year, and we might! Teddy is a big step up, even from Mini., and i don't think we have replaced Mini yet. Mini was a true Rooster, and i hope to see him around the Roosters for years to come.

2013 was such a big year for all Rooster fans. I will never forget that side. If we ever equal the ability of the 2013 Roosters, we will win the comp. For me, beating Manly 4 times that year was such sweet nectar, it was unbelievable. It was everything i've ever lived for. Let's do it again.

Just be sure to slam Keary as much as you did Friend last week for that 7 tackle set.

Unlike Friend last week, Keary played a major role in getting us into a winning position in the first place.

Friend also directly led to multiple tigers tries with shitty kicks and errors last night, as well as killing numerous attacking raids with his god awful kicking. He needed to be hooked for Watson around he 60th minute when he ran it alone on the 5th away from pearce an Keary, and meekly handed the ball over with a dumb pass to no one.

Keary's kick was a bad decision though
