Flanno is a good coach and remember when he coached our under 21's to a premiership undefeated too in 2004 as well as being Sticky's assistant for 2 Years and Australia national team assistant coach in 2007/8 under Sticky and assistant NSW Coach under Craig Bellamy 2007-2010 - Uncle Nick had Bennett to coach for 2007 but it fell through - when for some reason they sign Anderson to coach- Flanno was sacked as Anderson brought his own team with him which sadly was a disaster - I rate him myself as a coach and well he coached Cronulla to their first premiership ever

I'm getting sick of dummy halves deliberately throwing the ball into a defenders head on the ground to get a penalty! Sharks got away with it a few times tonight. I was at a Dragon v Bulldogs game years ago when Nathan Brown tried that and Bill Harrigan penalised him for it. Only ref with courage enough to say 'I'm not copping that crap!'. Call it attacking a defending player's head or not in the spirit of the game. I don't care! It needs to be stamped out!

No bagging Sticky as he coached us to a premiership win - sure it should have been 3 same can be said for Robbo too with one premiership but only one GF when minor premiers 3 times - only once under Sticky(2004) we were minor premiers compared to Robbo's 3 times.

I respected Sticky when he coached us but....

Stuart had Freddy running the team btwn 2002-04. Look what happened when Freddy retired. Stuart couldn't coach us into the 8 the following year.

Robbo hasn't had a player/playmaker of that kinda greatness during his 5 seasons in charge yet has been able to take us back to the top with a arguably a lesser team than that of stuarts 2005 squad

Sure mate focus on the penalty as the only reason your team lost.... truth is skipper cost you the game at the death and you can't take it.

Surprise surprise that he didn't attribute the lost to the fact that even though his team had 1) 58% of the ball. 2) all the field position in the 2nd half 3) were gifted penalty after penalty after milking it in the ruck 4) was very luckily that his 5/8 wasn't binned, yet could only break our line once in the 2nd half.

Bill Harrigan was on the Roosters books when he retired as a Ref to help them with what refs allow and no allow during a game basically

No problem with what he said - more interested in what Archer says on decisions/non decisions made during the game- we should have put them away earlier so I was happy with the result but knowing we have to improve a lot starting this week against the Titans for sure- We have guaranteed a top 4 finish but need to make it a top 2 finish vs Titans to get a home 1/4 final

secondly, cronulla's first try the roosters were offside when jwh? Smashed Townsend? Wtf! I can count on my fingers the penalties we receive all season for offside. So rarely given

Completely agree. Our attack just needs a bit of work. But I'm happy with where we are atm. Agreed that we just should focus on the Titans game. Can't take them lightly like we did r26 a couple of years back

Flanagan was frustrated with the loss, i get it, but the penalty (which was a penalty, not a scrum) isn't why they lost. And a good coach would have acknowledged that. Goes to show the differences betwen Flano and our Robbo.

I'll be surprised if Archer explains the inconsistencies in that one. But here is hoping that he does
