  • JWH >> Manly (telecrap)

THE Sea Eagles have hatched a plan to get square with arch-rivals the Sydney Roosters by luring Kiwi hardman Jared Waerea-Hargreaves back to the northern peninsula.

Manly coach Des Hasler was fuming when the Roosters poached Waerea-Hargreaves at the end of 2009 and the Eagles are aiming to return the favour.

Waerea-Hargreaves was a standout last season but has struggled to find rhythm as coach Brian Smith uses him off the bench. A return to the Sea Eagles for 2013 could see Waerea-Hargreaves re-emerge as one of the most damaging forwards in the NRL.

FACT: Dessie was MORE pissed off we signed Lama Tasi than JWH.

Remember this is the TeleCRAP. If true, Tasi & Cordner are better backrower prospects.

The guy is a hard, tough man. Not necessarily a footballer. The great forwards have the ability to combine the two. I wouldnt be bothered at all if he left.

        Totally agree - he's a manufactured footballer

What's more, he'd be on pretty big dollars

        He's just not worth it

        Tasi will be though

I thought JWH went enormous on Saturday.

Certainly worth keeping in my eyes. We need at least one forward in our pack with some intimidation factor in them.

I'd be getting rid of FPN before him.

JWH lives up the road...he was tempted to move East, but thought safer for his career to stay in Nth Sydney.

He would be a big loss in my opinion.

Definitely adds more sting than anyone else we have.

                  So true
I also loved another article yesterday in the Newscrap rag where it said the Bulldogs like St Merge, Wests and Manly were focused on developing their outstanding batch of juniors. What crap! Last time I looked the Dogs were the big spenders / transit lounge of the NRL. And why are the roosters not included in that. We haven't been on a buying spree for years and are focused on developing the talent we already have within the club. It really pisses me off these stereotypes. Like Gus the other night when he said the Bulldogs never give up (in the game against parra). Looked like they gave up to me against the Warriors the week before Gus! And the game against Manly!!

Get F*cked, we're actually building towards a good side given the youth of our younger players like; hargreaves, tasi, friend, cordner, kennedy, masoe, mitchell, BJ, Linnett etc, they just need more experience, game time together and maturity in play and then we are sweeeeeetttt.

He has been awesome this year, we would be mad to get rid of him now. No one else has his aggression in our current line up

It's from the Telegraph, the same paper that said Todd Carney wanted to leave.

I call shenanigans. Only because Joe Breen said I couldn't write anything worse.

Thats crap Tony, the difference between 15th and top 8 isn't much. Confidence and belief is an amazing thing either way, last year the same squad made the GF.
