Guerra is the form forward at this club! Half of those players you have mentioned are/have underperformed consistently all year.
If he does get released it'll bite us hard, if cherro can't come back, if symonds/FPN continue downward spiral, if BJ stays on the wing, if Cordner (lesser extent) /Bosden/Lowe are to develop in 1st graders at all, if if if if if if.

In Guerra you already have a first grader. You already know he puts in 100% every game. You already know he can be destructive. You see him scoring ties/offloading/tackle break/creating in attack/organising the D. You see his effort week in week out. Did I miss anything?

This is what I see and if the powers that be don't - What fools!
Well, i hate to be the bearer of bad news but sadly, i believe Cherro broke down again at training the other day (just recommenced
light training)......unfortunately a knee injury =(. I hope it turns out to be nothing too serious but it doesn't appear good!

This unfortunate circumstance might have a knock-on effect & lead our officials to re-sign Guerra (provided another club like Penrith haven't already poached him).

Dear oh dear Cherrington, did he run over a kitten or something?
As for your comment on Guerra, was that meant to be slightly cryptic because if it was, that is terrible news.

        Lone,
I wasn't sounding cryptic about another club snaring Guerra, but rather a touch sarcastic. IMHO, i think Guerra's style of play has made other coaches aware of his worth. I've no doubt if Roosters officials do not retain him then other coaches wanting to beef up their stocks will pounce......& that will piss me off extremely.

penrith are very interested. as i have said before, if he leaves he is a casualty of depth. imo maubs and cordner as starting backrowers are ahead of guerra and the likes of symonds, leilua, cherrington and even tasi offer more off the bench. id be more than happy for him to stay but the reality is that there doesnt appear to be 'room'

roz you forot our star backrower - the Anastabator. So long as he is there our backrow will never be right. Throw Symonds and Maubs, who are both lightweights and have played like spastics this year, into the equation and we are farked. Guerra is a must in my opinion. I think BJ must move to the centres. FPN can go back to NZ and get some more more gang tatts as far as I am concerned.

J.W.H. is a young aggressive forward who played what I believe, to be his best game for us last Saturday. I'd rather lose any of our forwards with the exception of Kennedy. Hasler is no mug, with the amount of strong tough forwards he has at his disposal, he still wants an intimidator, I'll be really pissed if we let him go, players of his calibre are hard to find.

I think you, like many, have been hearing the Cordner name for a little too long and are overstating his current position in the team. He has certainly performed well in the games he played this year but he is what 19? I think if it weren't for a number of injuries he would have been starting off the bench. I would have him off the bench until he is a little more battle hardened.

I'd have Aiden G over Anasta, Symonds, FPN and Mose.

Being a Townsville boy and a bloody good player, I want to see him stay at the Roosters long term (hopefully injury free)

Tasi, Kennedy, Cordner, Arona, Aubusson, Friend, Cherrington*, JWH, Bosden, Symonds, Guerra

We have got some really good young forwards and need to hang onto them, Fark Spastic Des and his cronies, they can have Anasta, Mataka or one of the other dead heads.

We do have a fair number of names to throw around but what we are lacking is battle hardened backrowers. The only way to get that is game time and experience, The club has been obviously experimenting with finding a spot in the side for Aidan G spot, for mine second row left or right as he can pass and kick either side, defense is solid without being damaging , hands are always free with the hit and spin at the line, just no support players for the second phase.Organising and awareness seems solid. Getting better each outing what more are we looking for.

                        I am a big fan of JWH and hope he stays a Rooster for a long time, but for the haters and non believers here is a quote from Terry Randall in RLW;

Q: You recently hailed Paul Gallen as the games best hardman of the moment. Who else stands out?

A: Jared Warea-Hargreaves for the Roosters is going all right. He's a tough customer when he wants to be, but the trouble is the referees are onto him at the moment. It's good the way he is, because he puts fear into the opposition. He's certainly a tough customer. I reckon him and Gallen are on par....it's just that the referees are onto him so he's got to watch what he does.

So maybe some of the penalties he concedes are more to do with who he is rather than what he does (same as Jason Ryles).

My own personal opinion is that if everyone in the team played with the same 110% level of commitment that Jared does, we could be world beaters. If he stays a Rooster long term I see him being mentioned in the same revered tones as one of my all time Roosters Adrian Morley.

JWH is a definate keeper, who will only get better. We MUST hang onto this guy at all costs, as nobody else in the team really strikes fear into the heart of the opposition.

** As a side note imagine Morley in his prime playing in the same team as JWH

Wash your mouth out with soap comparing the great Morley with Maria Hargreaves.

hhhmmmm...sounds exactly like what I've been expecting from our fearless leader. Pity he hasn't been hitting the line much, otherwise we could compare the two.

Maybe he doesn't want the contact as it may ruin the golf swing.
