For those who haven't heard Pappy had a heart attack last night and having an operation today to remove a blockage. The only one worth listening to on Talkin Sport. Prayers for a quick recovery.

Thanks for posting - I watched a great interview recently re the current state of the ARU and the popularity of club rugby as evident of the crowds at the Shute Shield games. Likeable guy indeed.

That is sooo wrong...I wasn't against RTS, but I gave respect to our legend Minichiello. Two time GF winner. RTS had his chance at FB in 2015 but we didn't win and chose to take the cheque with the warriors. He knew he had the position but now he was home sick or some crap like that...Apparently Issac Luke now was home sick in the same year... Please, don't twist my reasons as to why I don't give a crap about RTS. Coulda been a legend but now he's languishing with that crap of a team.

You want to be an apologist for RTS, that's your prerogative... I won't!

His career with us was cut short by season ending injuries early on each year, usually when he broke something.

Can anyone remember that Truck poster ad at the football stadium a few years after Pappy retired. Its headline was something like "not even Brett Papworth could break this" ?
