    Injury Update
    25/07/2011 10:46:29 AM
The Tricolours escaped Saturday night’s match against the Tigers injury free but unfortunately were not so lucky earlier in the day.

Centre Justin Carney strained his hamstring at training for the third time in the last couple of months on Saturday morning and is now looking at another three weeks on the sideline.

Attracts a lot of unwarranted criticism on here this guy - as if he's even 1% responsible for the disaster that this season has been

The criticism is warranted in my eyes.

The few games he has played have been pretty ordinary.

He is returning from one the worst broken legs imaginable

Much more is tolerated from some of the spastics in our side who have had no such misfortune

He was a risky buy and the risk hasn't paid off. Wing/Fullback are areas that we need to recruit in. I can't see much coming through the grades for next year. Moga still needs more time. I still think Kheirallah has something to offer but certainly wouldn't be pinning any hopes on him.

He actually played at the back end of 2010.

But you are right when you say there are many others in the same boat.

"Spastics" is a bit harsh. Dumb may be a better way to describe them. We have plenty of those.
