Boyd did a grade 1 hammy tear I think? (Which is more a bruise than a tear)... guessing they will pull all strings possible to get him out there. TPJ's out for the season I think?

Either way, we're pretty well full strength and have a home final. It's ours to lose IMO.

Brisbane have a few injury concerns. Boyd ,McCullough and milford is playing with a busted shoulder that requires off season surgery. Milford has to be a major target for our big boys. And for the first time in a while we are full strength. If we can get our backline firing again we can march on

Only a God like Ricko can recover 1 wk after a hammy complaint. And even then it was for the GF. If it was wk 1 of the finals he wouldn't have played.

He needs to control the game more for mine, there are so many brain numbing useless kicks, like the one on halftime, that make no sense. Seems like kicking the ball into touch and setting your line is a thing of the past. So many opportunities to run the ball, but instead a half assed kick with no pressure is the go to play. I'm sure all those kicks are coached, because if they are not, then I don't think we would see them on every 5th tackle play.

I wouldn't be coaching my team to do that. It makes no real sense. Kick high to the corners, get a good chase and hem them in. It can be three tackles down before the rest of the opposition are back onside and ready to attack. Kick in to touch and they're set straight away. The only time I would be wanting my halves to find the line would be when we need a breather or when we are winding down the clock

I don't see how Daaarius visibly pulls up like that and plays the next week.
But regardless, the 3 little men will be there - Milford Hunt Nikorima.. and as Souths plus Manly have just shown against Moses and Cleary (and arguably Titans with Keary), its showtime, we're going to run at, and expose, the "weak links".

As for Pearce (and Friend) kicks, I hate to say it, but lock them in a room with Blake Green and Cherry-Evans highlights on repeat all week long. Just the couple of things they did I saw on the tele after our game looked far more impressive than what I'd just witnessed at Allianz.

For a 20 something game rookie he played very well yesterday. Some strong carries, plus once in attack (late in the game when we were still 10 behind) looked like busting the line for a try and then there was the kick take and offload for Gordon's try.

Sure his defense needs to scrub up but it is his still really his first full season in fg and I am confident he will be a very good player for us in years to come, has that x-factor.

BTW Fergo was a beast yesterday and looking forward to Toops on the other side of the field next week.

Good call 13. He had a good game. Maybe Robbo told him to have a go to try and win his spot back.
