  • MVP of the Year?

We had a hell of a lot of great players all year. We must have to have finished 2nd as it was no fluke. It was all hard work despite all odds and very bad biased ref calls all year.

MY MVP player of the year goes to MICHAEL GORDON. Not only did he play and defend well but he got us a lot of crucial victories single handely. He was also buy of the year and I'm glad he's sticking around as we need players like him. Toups would have to be equal or come in 2nd.

Agree with Flash and Keary, but at the risk of derailing the thread, I say add Pearce to that list. Even when he is ordinary he is still pretty good.

Yes. He's been the backbone of our attack.

                  Keary for mine.

                  Flash second.

Fergo and Toups for third best at the Roosters and second best wing pairing in the NRL.

                        JWH for mine.

Flash, Keary & Toops all deserving of a mention.

Geez if you told me 12 months ago I'd nominate Toops for MVP I would have laughed you out of the room.

                          Gordon for me.
                          Pearce must be close too

I have been quite disappointed in Jake Friend. He does so wonderful things and defends his heart out, but his service is on average is terrible

The NKOTB Gordon and Keary have covered areas where we were missing last year.
