I also recall a dodgy penalty try which put Manly in front. I further recall us having to overcome the mother of all penalty counts in the 4 nil win over Manly in the first finals match - 12 to 5 count against with Cummins leading the charge. I expect Cummins was quite shocked to actually see us make it to the GF.

We were an amazing team in 2013. Overcame a massive negative penalty differential for the season to win the comp. Did it the hard way, which makes it sweeter I suppose.

Yep then the spin doctors were all like 'it is so unfair that the Roosters are intentionally giving away penalties so that they can win games'.

I remember reading that and going loooool WTF?!?!? Yeah sure... we INTENTIONALLY concede penalties because that gives us such a big advantage.

BRISBANE BRONCOS (HATE EM)

We need to keep a close eye on Benji Marshall. It's been on the internet, but he is having a good season, and he will be a calming influence on the team. Also, when he's in form he can deliver sublime passes to his big forwards on both edges, AND he has a great short kicking game.

Again, as I was saying before the Cronulla game our defence needs to be in their faces, and we need to build pressure. Our defence was great against Cronulla but we did not really build pressure with our short/long kicking game, and/or control the game.

On the positive side: WE CAN WIN IF WE PLAY AS PER OUR POTENTIAL - REMEMBER PARRA PUT 50 ON THIS TEAM A FEW WEEKS AGO.

Negative side: EVENTUALLY OUR POOR DISCIPLINE AND ERRORS WILL CATCH UP WITH US. IT DID AGAINST MANLY !!!!!: WE NEED TO IMPROVE.
