Linnett would be on a modest contract and would be looking for a decent upgrade.
It only takes another club putting in an offer just a bit above what the Roosters are prepared to pay and the player is gone.
Say he is on $120K now and wants $200K to stay at the club. That $80K could be the difference between keeping a player like Guerra.
In saying that, Anasta's departure would free up enough to keep a stack of others!Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Parramatta used to produce so many first graders. I remember when their junior teams were dominant in all grades.
Now they have to splash out money for players like Sandow, Tahu, Shackleton, Tonga etc.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.
