Sorry, I couldn't read that. I had chlorinated water in my eyes.

I would be happy for BJ and Linnet to fight it out for a centre position.

If this is the case though, we desperately need a winger to fill BJ's vacated position. I can't see any good options at our club.

It's a hard one because we don't know how the figures stack up.

Linnett would be on a modest contract and would be looking for a decent upgrade.

It only takes another club putting in an offer just a bit above what the Roosters are prepared to pay and the player is gone.

Say he is on $120K now and wants $200K to stay at the club. That $80K could be the difference between keeping a player like Guerra.

In saying that, Anasta's departure would free up enough to keep a stack of others!

It seems that Trojan Captain is like beer, the cause of and cure for most of this club's problems.

FPN would also be taking up a reasonable amount of our salary cap.

Parramatta used to produce so many first graders. I remember when their junior teams were dominant in all grades.

Now they have to splash out money for players like Sandow, Tahu, Shackleton, Tonga etc.

Might have something to do with Captain Tracksuit Rod Reddy. His inability to spot footy talent is starting to get to Rooster Recruitment levels.....he wisely told James O'Connor he was too small for league. He spends his time at junior league games handing out shirts and tracksuits to any player with any ability but then doesn't return their calls and forgets who they are.

Wasn't one B. Smith given alot of credit for implementing the structures at Parramatta which developed the talent?

Was that part of their "youth policy"?

Didn't Brian Smith leave Parra 7 years ago? Do you really think he's still responsible for their current predicament? If so....bloody Ricky is still responsible for our debacle of a season!
