We almost lost to Manly in the GF (but for some freakish plays) and we uuum... didn't have to play Souths due to a lucky Manly win. In 2013, Souths were the team to beat IMO. Manly spoiled that for them.
In no way shape or form were Souffs the team to beat that year.
We had the most wins.
Scored the most points.
Conceded the fewest points.
Had the best points differential in about 15 years.
Set an ALL TIME record for clean sheets.
And had the most star studded roster.
Cmon Ism, you're way off on this one.

Much as I hate the Storm, and I truly, truly, loathe them, I don't see 2 losses in them this finals series. Based on that I hope they beat Parra, and then go out after a rest in 2 weeks.Originally posted by jism
I saw Reynolds crying in front of me after the game and yelled out 'WHAT ARE YOU CRYING ABOUT?!?!? GO SAY SORRY TO COOPER YOU GRUB!!!' He looked up at me with a pretty broken looking face.

Too much wishful thinking and sentiment here.
No way Storm will lose tomorrow night. They play particularly well in 'milestone' games.
Given that Cameron Smith is breaking the record for the most NRL games playes and that they are at home.
Added to this is Bellamy n Arthur have had a war of words so the Storm will be taking this game extremely seriously.
Plus the fact that Mitchell Moses suggested he and Parra can smell a.grand final and premiership I think the Melbourne Storm will blow them off the Park. Storm by 16.Originally posted by Bondi Boy
Pathetic!
What a rabble we are.
Oh well, maybe next year

Melbourne have gifted and hard working players in key positions. Players around the core play to almost their maximum potential every time they play. It is this and only this that makes them so successful.
Other clubs have higher potential, the Roosters, Broncos, and Cowboys (if fit) all fit into this category. We do not often play at our full potential as a group though.
Finals games are the exception, as a general rule, all players for any team play pretty close to potential. IMO that's why Melbourne do get knocked off reasonably consistently in big games.
Mark my words, if they face us in the GF they will be in a fight.Last edited by Flipper Hands; 09-08-2017, 06:53 PM.Originally posted by jism
