        We should win.

That Brisbane team is decidedly inferior to our own and we just need to limiit their 2nd phase

And I have a good feeling that we've been saving our best footy for the finals so...

        Roosters by 12.

So Toops may be unlikely. I hope he's fully fit in time but there's no point risking him if he's not.
As for Darius, it was pretty clear the injury was serious when he went down against the Cowboys. It's a great opportunity for us having him not there but we always seem to be at our worst when we are expected to win. Hopefully last week's very crappy performance will prevent that.

I dunno... IMO Wayne's quietly confident he'll win, hence why he isn't risking Darius Boyd.

Long-term development aside (which has all gone down the dunny with the departure of both anyway), I think Benji Marshall is the better half than hunt when it comes to ad-lib moments during tight games. Earlier in the year, we woulda beaten Brisbane... but for Benji injecting some magic into the side. He is still capable of tearing teams apart using ad-lib footy... something few Broncos can do.

That said, with Boyd and Pangai Junior out (and us full-strength - now we are the ones playing the false injury card!) we have the luxury of being at home with our 1st pick squad, against a 2nd pick squad playing away from home. It is ours to lose...

Oh and the Broncos have struggled big time with conversions!!! Nikorima kicks straight (no bend in his kicks] and Milf is shyte at best. This could be a decisive factor if Gordon's on song (I've noticied him getting better ay!!!)

            Expect the regular:
            - Commentators will all be like 'WOW... IT IS ALL MILFORD!!!! HOW GOOD IS HE?!?!???' [pretty ordinary TBH]
            - Blair will be offloading with his shoulders pinned squarely to the ground and players walking back to defend
            - Roberts and Oates will get a lot of sweet runs

            Meh... maybe we can win?

All sides are extra dangerous from now on. And that includes us.

WE NEED A BIG CROWD..........................FRIDAY NIGHT, WELL WE'LL KNOW ON FRIDAY

It's a dangerous side but I just think that Boyd is a massive loss.

Our weakness is our edge defence and no fullback can take advantage of it with sweep plays out the back better than Boyd.

But yes, they're still dangerous. They love 2nd phase play and when everything sticks they can pull off some real Globetrotter like moves.

But I expect our defence to hold up and our pack will monster theirs. We just need to be clincial in attack. No wasted chances!!

Tommy their pack still looks formidable to say the least - the starting pack for sure. They have lost depth to the pack on the bench though as have we, Tetevano wont get off tonight, for this game at least. I dont think there is too much between the two starting packs.

I'm thinking about heading to Sydney for the game. Chookpen drinks at the taphouse before the game with Chris, Clem, Eddie and the boys.

Blair and Thaiday don't have a metre in them. They can't punch through the line so I reckon they'll really struggle to make ground.

As usual relieving penalties will be their best friend. If they only get 2 or 3 they'll be in trouble.

find it interesting that they have put Cornish on the extended bench again, with Pearce having some kind of hand injury its something to keep an eye on.

not saying Pearce won't play just Robbo putting an insurance policy in place if needed.

Or maybe Boyds injury is more than they're letting on and he can't play at all and unlikely for a couple.

Blair is they're captain and I can see him getting a little wild and likely to give away a few more penalties than usual. A bit of niggling could be worth a few points.
