An interesting point you make TV's Ghost and the precedent it sets - Come at someone at pace in a one on one defensive situation and the attacking player is injured.

Do we continue to see a game develop to a point where every forward interaction involves, standardised line speed, three in the tackle, wrestled to the ground, followed randomly by the blight of the game, the arbitrary ruck penalty.

We are heading to the point where the game's defence and refereeing of it will have all the credibililty of watching a wrestling match up between Mario Milano and Bulldog Brower

wasnt there a roosters player years ago penalised for tackling a player too hard around the legs

Cmon guys. I know it's not the worst result but surely it's not the best either. Poor bloke shouldn't be missing any game time at all and I reckon his muscle will be missed this weekend especially against the grubs such as a McGuire and co.

The only way to justify this result is to enforce the same ruling next season. Enjoy the next few weeks of footy guys. Based in this ruling, it's the last you will see of the game as we know it.

Awesome result - so happy for him - he has been great lately after a bit of a slump mid season. Really great player to come on and lift the intensity. No matter what now he gets to play finals which he has never done - this would have been weighing heavily on him and the team - should be a good boost.

Yes it was Mose Mosoe at Shark Park 2012 When it happened our Captain Mini said ref you cant penalise him gor that he has taclked him around the legs. To which the referee replies I know but we are concerned with the amount of force used

Do you remember who the ref was that day?

                    What is the final result?
Down graded & how many weeks out?

We are just lucky to have all players available at this time of the year appart from Tets of course. A bit like 2013. I think we are the only club in the top 8 unaffected by injury at the moment.

So this offence is the highest grade of careless tackle. Remember that. The judiciary is saying there is nothing a player can do that is more careless than this tackle.

His shoulder made contact with the head. Its dangerous contact!. The result is fair.

With Jack Little commentating! I like it. And we could use one more mean front rower and Brute Bernard is out of the question. I mean he'd never pass the HIH for starters to get ON the field. But you have a point about the refereeing. Some Wallaby Bob eyeglasses needed when it comes to forward passes. Unless of course it's a Roosters one.
