Thanks. Thought so. He still has the capacity to be a good player.

Start of last year when Cherrington done his ACL he had the patella surgery, Start of this year when he done his ACL on his other knee he had the hamstring surgery and weeks before he was supposed to be back on the field he tore it again on the knee he had the hamstring surgery on. He had the patella surgery again 5 weeks ago. He said the patella took a while to heal and although extremely painful his knee is perfect, whereas the hamstring surgery, even though not as painful apparently it's not as strong.

If you assume that im a family member or a close friend then i'd say you've also gotta assume that calm down is something that someone like that wouldn't really do. But theres no reaon whoever i am that i cant be as passionate about defending him while others are passionate about slandering him. This is for fans of the roosters, It's not a hate site.

the only ones that have demonstrated loyalty are the club, they've paid this guy 3 years salary to play 19 games....
He actually took a pay cut when he re-signed and took matchies knowing full well the risk to make some room in the salary cap for more players. Im pretty sure he was still injured when he re-signed. But he didnt just re-sign for less. He also rengotiated his original contract for less. I never said he didnt, i just dont think he should of. He didnt get nominated for the one community award last year for scraping the bare minimum. This guy is as loyal as they come and as a passionate roosters supporter, i support the players that support the club. Especually when they're injured. If we dont back him then what does that actually say about our club? are we only good when we buy them in? are we not a good enough team to grow our own players? Smithy probably see's alot of potential in him because it must be rare for coaches to see so much going against someone and them still not just quit. 19 games in 3 years. I think i have a pretty good idea of who's more dissapointed.

I personally would probably be too scared to event try and run if i'd gone through 3 knee reconstructons.

I don't exactly see your point here, he may be as loyal as they come and the best bloke going around, the fact of the matter is he's a football player, he's paid to play footy. so far he hasn't been able to do that, and sure it's not his fault and i'm sure he's very very disappointed, but it's a football club. If the Roosters decide to let him go because he's injury prone, yet to really prove himself as a result of it and they have plenty of backrowers to fill the void, that's their decision and they shouldn't be attacked for being disloyal because of it...
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

After all, footy clubs are businesses these days...not 'daycare centres' for injured players and players holding breach notices of any kind...so Leila McKinnon virtually told us in her article.

The difference between Carney and Cherrington is Cherrington is one of us, whilst we may not be a daycare centre we should be seen as part of the community and looking after one of our own is a different story altogether from what Leila McKinnon was trying to get at.
