  • Who will stand up for the Roosters?

What a performance yesterday by Jason Taumalolo! It showed the influence that a dominant forward can have on a game of rugby league. So, who in the pack will stand up for the Roosters?

We've got the best forwards in the comp and if they play close to their best, we will go a long way.
He's probably not our best forward, but I'd nominate Naps as the one to go into overdrive. He's a player who is consistently solid but, every now and then, can produce a performance that can blast a team off the park.

Have your forgotten SST schooled him a few weeks back? He is one of many that will stand up for us.

For me Cord's is most likely to produce a 'Lolo moment, Matto has the most improvement in him, and JWH's middle third games will be epic (they already are).

Nappa is dead weight in attack and a toiler in defence, hell I'd favour Evans to break a game open before Nap's.

Yeah, I love it! Maybe that's the answer. I just have a feeling that if we control the middle, we can win this thing. If they all stand up together, that'll do nicely!

Yo this is very true. You guys remember in 2013 when almost every player stepped up? I feels like this is happening now. Evans, Guerra, Watson, Gordon are all doing very well. Honestly who is not playing well you know what Im sayin

Hopw he is saving up for a big one, to be honest, he hasn't shone much after that match, may be due to his injury.

Fair call. He has been outshone by Isaac but I am still very happy he is there.

I'm not nominating AG for this but do want to recognise his form since origin has been great! AG in this current form is one of our best and is a loss next year. I have been critical of AG in the past but think he has really turned his form around lately and is a very valuable member of this team pushing for the premiership.

I've been exasperated by his form too The Lip and I admit I was happy for him to go. But I'd love to see him head up the M1 with a two-try performance and a premiership ring. Happy to wear the egg on my face to see that! Still, getting ahead of myself here. We've got to make it first.

Napalm will be our sledgehammer over the next 2 games.
