They wont be easy but there fairy tale is over. Can they handle what we throw at them. I dont think so , not if we bring our A game. Although the time for winning ugly and subpar performaces have to be behind us.

I think our main threat is playing against a new attack.

I know we've already played the Cows without Thurston and with Morgan as the primary playmaker but that was almost 2 months ago. They've a had a lot of time to work on their combos and refine their game plan since.

I truly believe Robbo is the best defensive coach in the game and he comes up with the best game plans but it's hard to defend an attack that is constantly evolving and come up with a well defined game plan on such a small sample size of games.

It will be interesting to see if their 4 in defenders are as aggresive as they were against Parra. I think we will slice them to shreds on the edges if Lowe and Cooper rush up in simialr fahsion to the Eels games. Worked against the Eels who run with split halves, just wouldn't work against a side who runs with a more tradtional first and second receiver.

I think it's a really intriguing battle between two coaches who know each other very well.

The first 20-30 minutes is so crucial.

The Cowboys don't have the attack to make up ground so if we can come out of the blocks flying and get a two try lead then we'll be very hard to run down so long as we don't once again hand momentum back to the opposition.

But if the Cowboys can hang tough until Lolo's crucial 2nd stint around the 55min mark then he has the potential to single handedly cancel out any extra energy we have from the week off.

This is why I see us either winning by 14-18 or the result being a < 6pt win either way. I hope it's the former as our hearts couldn't handle the latter again after the Broncos game.

The cows looked good on the weekend but need to factor in that parra imploded in the second half. The cows sharks game was one of the worst games i have seen this year and if saints didnt choke against the dogs the cows would not have made the eight

it's a great press fairytale but if we turn up ready to go we win and win well

Robbo was quoted on the Sunday footy show I think it was that he rates Michael Morgan the best player in the NRL.

The cows will not drop the pill. They'll play somewhat boring, safe, error-free football and just wait to be handed some field position through our own errors. Then once in the attacking 20 they'll turn it on.

If we fall into this trap and cough up too much easy ball, we will be in trouble. If we manage to keep our completions at a respectable level (over 80%) and force the cows to go toe to toe with us and actually try and EARN their field position and score points, then we'll win.

              A big if.

And there is talk that clubs like the Gronkos and Sunshower are powerhouses.... Phffft!
It's only winning the GF that really counts. The rest is lost opportunities.

The Roosters themselves are their own biggest threat.

                      Agreed. I see 3 scenarios...

                      1. The Cows play an ordinary game but we give away penalties every 2 minutes, bomb a bunch of certain tries and forget how to defend. Cows win.
                      2. We get out game on and flog them.
                      3. Scenario 1 but by some ridiculous fluke we beat them by 6 points or less.

e.g. The Gronkos in the first week?

Matt Scott has been named on the extended bench.

Anyone think he will play? Or is Green just playing?

If he passes all the required tests he will play- I have a feeling Green may start him too - get 30 minutes out of him - be hard to play- rest and play again once he cools down- what ever time he plays it will be in one block - either first half or second half- don't know who he will replace-Jenson or Fenson

Phase V - return to sport, usually at six months
                            • Patient must meet all the criteria for return to sports
                            • No soft tissue or range of motion complaints
                            • Physician must clear the patient to resume full activities
                            • The goal is safe return to sports
                            • Education of patient about possible limitations
                            • Maintenance of strength, endurance, and proprioception
                            • Functional bracing may be recommended by some physicians for the first one to two years after surgery for psychological confidence.

Green will know how Robbo thinks which will give them a leg up- We need to expect an arm wrestle and play accordingly- high set completions/good kick and chase game/ resilient defence and low error and penalty count- need to play 80 minutes as they wont beat themselves or give up and will be very confident given their final series so far- they have nothing to lose either having progressed this far- 4 P'S- Purpose/Position/Patience and Points
