            Lol no.

            JT has had shoulder surgery.

This is up there with the "JWH is back for the Broncos prelim" rumour a month after tearing his ACL.

No problems. Finchy is coming back to mark him.

That's an interesting rumour and I expect that's all it is.

They don't need him, without him they are more of a chance of beating us, because we seem to struggle when we are "meant " to beat teams.

Although I say JT passing last night in the warm up, he still looked limited. He only passed short distances. Cant see him risking it all if he has ruled himself out for Australian selection.

but then again League is always full of surprises. I'm sure his surgeon would advise against taking the field

                          On nrl.com

It was the question on everyone's lips once the full-time siren sounded at ANZ Stadium after the Cowboys stunned the Eels 24-16 to book a spot in next week's preliminary final against the Roosters: will Johnathan Thurston play?

Unfortunately for North Queensland fans, the star playmaker revealed to NRL.com in the sheds that he was no chance of making a miraculous return from a shoulder injury in the grand final qualifier.

"Zero chance of me making a return," he said.

"I'll just ride the wave with the boys."

Thurston hasn't played since he landed a sideline conversion to guide the Maroons to victory in Game Two of this year's State of Origin series, with a serious shoulder injury ending his 2017 season and ruling him out of the end-of-year World Cup.

He said "zero chance of making a return" just to throw everyone off the track. So it must be true !

Apparently Tedesco has been granted an early release from his Tigers contract expiry date, and is available to play for the Roosters from next weekend

Idiotic rumour. Six months recovery and less than three gone. As bad as the JWH one in 2015.
