Contrast that to the 11-6 count the Storm got vs us.

If we get these low pen counts from here on in we'll be so hard to beat.

Cummins was a plant for this game similar to when he was appointed in the 2015 semi after he got bad press in relation to us only weeks before and the media hype and NRL saying no wrestle yet Cummins let them get away with blue murder.

I hate these kinds of seasons where the premiers are already a foregone conclusion before the grand final has even being played. I’d much rather the cowboys get thrashed than us because whoever plays the storm is going to get walloped something terrible. And the storm made heaps of errors yet still never conceded a single point.
Now Robbo has got us to so many finals but we have not been taking the major prize so questions have to be asked sooner or later why we havent played an 80 minute game all year.

Can't agree with that mate. Broncos in the 90s were better and didn't have to cheat the cap to do so.

I wasn't alive but I've heard that the drongos team from the late 50's early 60's who won 11 in a row were more dominant. Surely they would be up there

The Storm were very poor the first 50 min.

I can't believe people think they're over the line.

Cows have no hope but we can beat them.

An 11-6 count and a pen try against and they still needed a 78th min try after we blew it with the 7 tackle set to win.

They have 'Roosters 2003' written all over them.

I think there was a cap in the 90s, not only that but there are many questions over things that those Brisbane teams did to get that good.

i fully exp4ect us to win well on saturday, melbourne are very beatable looking at brisbane trying time and again to bust the line tonight whereas wed have scored 3 or 4 over that time, storm can only cheat to win offside all night wrestling etc..! neith billy or the arab winger looked good under the high ball tonight. cronk copped a lot of late knocks from blair must really hate him from stoirm days?his ribs must be very sore jwh or sia could tryu him out a few times? getting excited now not long to bring it on time!

the Raiders side of the late 80s to early 90s was pretty handy also.

As for the Broncos, they have always been stacked. Too easy to be when I n a one team major city. Also back in the day, effectively a one team state.

And I don't think Melbourne are a foregone conclusion. They deserve to be favourites and that's where it ends for me. You can bet our boys (assuming they are there) will be expecting to win.

I’m just tired of making it to the finals or GF or winning minor premierships and leaving the big one behind. I think we’re much better than that but we just have too many errors in our game. Anyway we’ve don’t well to be where we are.

There were questions about what they did, and of course they had the advantage of being a 1 team city, but I can't remember anyone proving that they cheated the cap and exploited the rules the way Melbourne have over the last decade or so.

Either way the point I was trying to make was that this Melbourne team isn't the greatest of all time.

I was simply questioning the "under the cap" notion.

They were well over, legally or illegally thats up for debate. So was the rapid increase in size of several of those players, same goes for those great Raiders sides.
Those Brisbane sides where filthy dirty cheats, but back then it was conveniently ignored.
