    Nerves. Are. Building.

Ughhh Prelims are just as stressful as Grand Finals.

    Come on boys!

Run hard! Tackle harder! The key word is CLINICAL. No more bombed tries.

If we execute our opportunities we win.

I'm tipping our forwards to absolutely maul the Cowboys and send a warning to the Storm. Jwh, Napa, Cordner, Liu, SST, Tetevano... all super fresh and raring to go.

Roosters by 20 after a late flurry against a battered and bruised Cowboys team.

      weirdness

2013 we were unbeatable, many games were held to nil, an armchair ride

2017 ??? How did we get this far? This year I have yet to see this team with it's best lineup fit to go

Neither have I seen them put up a rock solid team performance

Most of us have finger cramps from this white knuckle ride

Surely tonight? a lot to expect, ......& more anxious than nervous

Worst feeling is missing out on GF iby losing prelims you should win. On paper we are better in every facet except consistency and game management. If Friend and Pearce can limit errors we win.

Feeling confident. Should we respect the ball and kick well, then attack them hard with our defence, we will win well (They have very little in attack with the ball especially coming out of their own half)The key for us is to dominate field position we do that they cannot beat us.

wish i had your confidence. i know we can win but for me its more if we will play well to win. i feel its going to be quite an arm wrestle since thats the way they like to play

Yea it's quite surreal isn't it?

I can't believe we're this close to a gf so quickly. I guess 2016 still lingers a little.

I agree it's probably a softer comp this year, but no matter how weak your coffee, the cream is always on top.

Except the storm are those chocolate sprinkles made from poop.

See how many 7 tackle sets Smith gave Brisbane last night. Pearce was crucified for giving one away.
The difference is Melbourne could defend, so no one even brings it up.
Pearce has been down on form since SOO lets hope he can get back in the groove.

Happy to win by one. The goal here is to win but also to get through intact.

12 wins by 6pts or less this year so far, its crazy to think this will be a walk in the park.

no doubt we have the talent to win, but the Cowboys actually have more GF and NRL game experience in their squad.

The temps are 27 degrees right now and are predicted to stay the same for the game.

You reckon the heat will favour the cows? I'm concerned they will be able to climatise to it better than our boys.

                              Reasons we will win:

                              1) 13-2 record in night games

                              2) 7-0 night games at home

                              3) The first time all season we've fielded a full strength team so should theoretically be our best performance

                              4) Full strength or almost full strength teams win the comps. Always. Cows historically shouldn't make it without Thurston.

                              5) Fresh and rested. Our pigs will have unrelenting energy

                              6) Cows 3rd straight trip to Sydney. They've gotta fatigue surely

                              7) The penalties should now be at a minimum and thats what the Cowboys prey on as they don't score from their own half.

All signs point to a Roosters win. Cmonnnn boyssss!!!
