I am definitely not a hater mate
i think the toughest thing as a coach is to have success early on.
ricky first year win, 2 grand final losses a dud season and then punted. 4 to 5 years max unless you see amazing development of younger players and older players putting in.
last year when we played crap I didn't buy what he was selling. I saw through it. If I did, so did the players.
It was spin, same as Maguire.....except injuries killed him and he was punted this year. We have had a great year with injuries......played crap when it counted.
How do you feel about the way we played yesterday Eddie?
was that acceptable?barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

If Nick keeps him after next year and we don't make the gf..it is Nick who should hang up the boots cause he would be a hypocrite

Acceptable? Not really.
This squad is a work in progress.
Mistakes have been made, but we carry on.
I'm not happy with our overall record in the last , nearly 20 years , tbh.
But there has been a lot of other influences that we couldn't control that contributed to that.
This year at least we gotta give credit to a team that outplayed us.
My gut feeling is that Robbo's head ain't on the block.
Nick knows more than we do, and we gotta have faith in him...........................don't we?

That is the job of the coach
When you've got decent depth in your club then relegation and promotion keeps players honest and on their toes. For example: IMO, Guerra would have been playing for Wyong after the first 8-10 rounds and replaced with Chris Smith, who i rate highly. Hardworking and a tremendous club man. Eloni Vunakece isn't the smartest league player but he's tough & uncompromising & gets the job done!

Fair enough to have a different view/opinnion, there are just as many arguments for picking on form as the primary criteria as there are for picking on ability as the primary criteria.
But to question his integrity and suggest it's a courage thing.... yeh I'm not sold on that one bit.

You can probably count on one hand the number of players he's dropped to reserve grade for poor form since 2013. Recently Latrell & Manu. Before them??? Last year Tupou was rested but i can't recall him pulling on a Wyong jersey (could be wrong).

I’d say they lost the game even before it started due to Robbos selections on Saturday.
Cowboys game plan for the past 3 matches has been simple and basic run out one out stuff and hold the ball. This should of prompted Robbo to go with all forwards on the bench.
Quite simple really. Also gave a hint the night before by Bennett playing Body injured, if Toops was fit start him if not don’t pay him at all.
Roosters looked flat all game there was no agression like the previous time they played cowboys. Maybe there heads were already on the drink.
Hargraves only making 40metres in comparison to Tal 200 metres.
Whos responsibility is it to get the players up ?
Did Robbo make a mistake with his bench ?Last edited by Bmw06i; 09-25-2017, 09:20 AM.
