Defence comes down to how much you want it. You can always forgive a technical flaw or a tactical misread but some of Manu's misses are inexcusable.

His miss for the Panthers 2nd try tonight falls into that category of just not willing to put his body on the line I'm afraid.

Compare that to Luke Keary last night who chopped Jason Taumalolo down at the legs last night like he was a 70kg winger.

SKD got away with tackling air all is career. At the same stage Manu is twice the defender. At least he uses his shoulders and has a go. The team needed attackers against the Cowboys, not defenders out wide. Big mistake!

Jack it's no myth. And obviously more intelligent league people than me agree it's no myth. Otherwise he would be in first grade because we all know how potent he is in attack.

Yes he is a brilliant attacker but the way he is at the moment he will conceed more tries than he sets up or scores and that's not acceptable in first grade. That's the reason Robbo opted to play a backrower in his position.

No he wont. Toups will be on the bench waiting for his 15 mins of fame.

I also think Gordon will be on the right wing since Robbo is so defensive orientated ... and I'm calling it now...Fergo will be some kind of utility able to fit in the backs and have to gain some muscle to take on the big boys in the middle. hes defensive work on the edge is woeful so why not give him a go at defending head on.
