Manu has his defensive flaws but he has to be right centre next year

we simply can't have another season with two backrowers in the centres, Manu is going to have a few poor reads in defense over the next few years, but we simply must persist with him as his attack can be absolutely dynamic.

Agree completely with this. He must be in the side. As someone mentioned Jennings was a defensive liability and now he is talked about as one of the best defensive centres.

Manu is not scared of putting his body on the line and he has quite a large frame to back it up. What he needs is practice at the higher level so he can sort out his reads and technique.

We need an X factor and he is the right guy to fill this role. He and Tedesco working together is a mouth watering contemplation fro next year.

Gordon will play for Wyong ,fill in across the backline and spend one-on-one time with players like Manu, Latrell and Fergo to help them make better match play decisions.

Defence comes down to how much you want it. You can always forgive a technical flaw or a tactical misread but some of Manu's misses are inexcusable.

His miss for the Panthers 2nd try tonight falls into that category of just not willing to put his body on the line I'm afraid.

Compare that to Luke Keary last night who chopped Jason Taumalolo down at the legs last night like he was a 70kg winger.

Brilliant talent but up to him now to put the hard work in during the off-season and start aiming up if he wants a spot come round 1.
