  • Second decade of excellence....

Around the dawn of the NRL, we got Freddy and Gus and went through about a decade of making the semis every year. In 2013 we got Trent and SBW and have since finished in the final four in four out of those five years. The way we are managing our roster suggests to me we should be thereabouts for the next few years.

We are the only Sydney team to have had this kind of success over this period and only Brisbane and Melbourne have been anything like this successful.

This week hurts of course but, before we sack everyone from Nick to the ballboys, let's also not forget how spoiled we are.

    go the mighty chookies

Robbin son doesn't need sacking. But his isn't a tactical coach in the slightest. Good at culture, man management, defence... terrible at attack.

Manly have won a premiership at least once every decade since the 70s, they are probably the most successful Sydney club.

problem solved we need anassistant coach to coach robbie in game managment bench rotation and other high level skills, leave the man managment up to robbo i dont think taylor is the man for this, need someone like an ex manly coach ( plenty of those around?) that will lift next season to the level we expect from our roster! even sbw might be the man for this?

100% behind this idea to have him on the coaching staff once he has decided to hang up the boots.
