  • The Tedesco Factor

The thought of this freak killing it for us in the no.1 jersey next year is the only thing that's easing the pain of that Prelim disaster.

I reckon he makes us a 10-12pt better team.

Personally I think he's as good as Slater. Let's not forget the advantage that Slater has had operating in the Storm system and feeding off of Cronk and Smith.

The point being, if Teddy could be the RLPA Player of the Year at the Tigers then the sky is the limit as to how good he can be in a Roosters jersey.

I'm going to enjoy the offseason after so many stressful games but in the back of my mind I'm as excited to see this guy in a Roosters jersey as I was to see SBW. And we all know what influence he had on the team.

So here's to our next 3-year Prem window that opens from next year.

About 20 minutes after the game I realised he’d be here next year and it put a smile on my face.

He’s a freak and we’ll be unstoppable with him next year.

Will improve the attack from the FB position.

He'll definitely add more spark/X factor to the back-line (especially with Mitchell and Toups) but we're still going to need some overhauling in other areas. We still need to sort out our right back edge.

We need to improve our forward depth now. The signing of Tedesco has killed our depth. Hopefully something is in the pipeline.

            Guerra and Evans out.

            Radley and Butcher in.

Then there's Smith and Collins. Our depth is good enough.

TS - Good luck with that , "the Grass is always Greener " if any of them get through half of what Guerra got through the other night , you may be some of the way there but that is not the problem, the Team appears disinterested to work for each other, they seem to wait for Friendy to do all the tackling and aren't prepared to chip in as if standing around is enough. Move early ,communicate early , work hard for the what ifs, there is no room for self preservation on the footy field.

I feel sorry for Tedesco, coming into the club and being expected to compensate for other players in the team who cannot deliver when it counts. Not just the 9 and 7 but also our front row who are unable to dominate against the best packs. Unless something changes there, I doubt we will be able to improve on what we achieved this year.

First 20 mins against the Broncos...superb, led 14-0.

Then the team was changed...our bench came on, their bench came on...their bench was better than our bench, and soon the 14 point lead disappeared.
Then we started with the errors.

Cowboys prelim game ...Napa seemed injured before the game, was being 'worked on' during the warm-up on the field?

We need 2 more big, tough, monster forwards.

We're an improvement on the Tiges - surely.

We shouldn't be comparing ourselves to the Tigers.

Lets not pin our entire 2018 campaign on tedescos shoulders huh, more importantly is that a few players have a hard look in the mirror and give some thought to one of the meekest surrenders ive seen from a roosters team in a finals game ...
